## Common questions

### Will Addarr work with Sonarr v3?

No. Addarr only works with Sonarr V4 because of breaking API changes between V3 and V4.

### How do I set up Addarr configuration?

Create a config.yaml file in the Addarr appdata folder. Use the provided config_example.yaml, fill in the necessary fields, and rename it to config.yaml.

### How is access to the bot secured?

The bot is secured with a password, and new chats first need to authenticate using /auth. You can also enable the allowlist in config.yaml so it only replies to already approved users.

### Can I change Sabnzbd download speeds from the bot?

Yes. Use the /sabnzbd command to change Sabnzbd down-/upload speed to 25%, 50%, or 100% of the defined limit.
