## Common questions

### How do I run sstvProxy from the Python source?

Configure sstvProxy.py for your setup, create and activate a virtualenv, install requirements.txt with pip3, and run sstvProxy.py with python3. The Python source is the most current version, and the compiled executables have no functional differences.

### How do I start sstvProxy automatically on Ubuntu?

Copy sstvProxy.service to /etc/systemd/system/sstvProxy.service after changing the paths to your setup. Then run daemon-reload, enable the service, and start it.

### How can I combine SSTV channels with another playlist?

Add EXTM3URL or EXTM3UFILE in the advanced settings to provide a URL or file source, and set EXTM3UNAME as the group name. A URL source has priority over a file source.

### How do I feed sstvProxy into TVHeadend and then into Plex?

Set TVHREDIRECT to true in the advanced settings and provide the TVHeadend URL, username, and password using TVHURL, TVHUSER, and TVHPASS.

### How can I inspect files inside the sstvproxy Docker container?

Enter the container with docker exec -it stokkes-sstvproxy1 sh and use ls to list the contents. The visible root includes the app and config directories.
