## Common questions

### How do I allow multiple Telegram users to wake devices?

Set TELEGRAM_ADMIN to the administrator chat IDs separated by commas. The README says you can obtain a chat ID by sending /id to the Rose bot.

### Can WakeBot be used inside a Telegram group or supergroup topic?

Set TELEGRAM_GROUP to the group chat ID and make the bot a group administrator. For a supergroup topic, set TELEGRAM_THREAD to the numeric topic ID; the default is 1.

### What volume should I mount so WakeBot data is kept?

Mount a persistent volume to /app/data because the bot writes data there. The compose example maps a host path to /app/data.

### Does the Docker deployment need published ports?

The README's Docker Compose example uses network_mode: host and does not define ports. It also sets restart: always and tty: true.
