## Common questions

### Do I need to publish a port in Docker Compose?

The example says a port is only needed if using direct connection mode. If used, publish it as UDP in the ports section.

### How do I keep server configuration between restarts?

Mount a server-data directory to /home/steam/core-keeper-data. A separate server-files mount is optional and holds the application files.

### Where is the server Game ID after startup?

A GameID.txt file is created next to the executable. If it does not appear, check the Docker logs, or query it with docker exec to cat the file.

### How do I select the correct ARM64 build?

The image includes Box64 variants for generic, Raspberry Pi 3, Raspberry Pi 4, Raspberry Pi 5 with 4K or 16K page size, M1, and ADLink Ampere Altra. Set ARM64_DEVICE in the core.env file to the desired variant; it defaults to generic.
