## Description

JOAL is an open-source command-line ratio management tool for torrent seeding on private trackers, with an optional WebUI for configuration. ## Common questions

### Where should Joal's configuration be stored?

Mount a host directory to /config in the container. This is the configuration path shown in the docker usage example.

### How do I access the WebUI and protect it?

Open the host IP and port, then the secret obfuscation path followed by /ui/. Set JOAL_SECRET_OBFUSCATION_PATH to an alphanumeric path and JOAL_SECRET_TOKEN to a complicated password-like token.

### How do I change the port Joal listens on?

Set the JOAL_PORT environment variable to the desired port. The container's published port should use that same port.

### Can the Docker container run an update at startup?

Yes. Set AUTOUPGRADE=1 to enable the update at startup; the default value is 0.

### Can I set the container user and group IDs?

Yes. Pass UID and GID environment variables, which default to 12345.
