## Description

EPlusTV presents paid sports streaming services such as ESPN, ESPN+, FOX Sports, CBS Sports, Paramount+, and MLB.tv as virtual linear live TV channels. It discovers available channels and programs, then generates M3U and XMLTV guide files for media or DVR clients such as Jellyfin and Channels DVR. It is intended for personal use with your own active subscriptions, and availability may change if upstream services block access.

## Common questions

### Do I need my own provider account to use EPlusTV?

It is not intended for pirating streams. It is made for using your own credentials with supported services and presenting them as virtual linear channels.

### Why do EPlusTV streams fail when accessed from another IP or through a reverse proxy?

If the hostname is not provided, some calls may still use localhost internally and fail when the EPlusTV Docker container and backend server are on different IPs. The Host header should be hostname:port.

### Can I add EPlusTV's ESPN+ and FOX Sports outputs to Channels DVR?

A Get Channels forum thread explains using EPlusTV to obtain m3u and xmltv data for ESPN+ and Fox Sports live streams. It covers adding those outputs as custom channels in Channels.

### Is EPlusTV guaranteed to stay available?

The README warns that it could be taken down at any minute.
