## Common questions

### Can Glimmr send DreamScreen data to other devices without being the direct HDMI capture source?

Yes. It can relay the extra data to all the same devices as if it were capturing directly via HDMI or screencap.

### What DreamScreen detection capability is still planned for Glimmr?

Auto-detection for LED and sector counts is planned, but it has not been added yet.

### Is Glimmr a complete DreamScreen setup at launch?

No. The post says it is still pretty basic, although it currently does the capture well.

### Is there a user guide for starting Glimmr on Windows?

A GitHub issue only shows a user asking whether there is a user guide doc after installing and starting Glimmr on Windows; it does not confirm one.
