## Description

Spamfilter Rspamd is an Rspamd scanner container for the IMAP spam filter stack. It reads local.d configuration from a mounted appdata directory and exposes port 11333 for scanning and port 11334 for control and web UI access. It is intended for homelab operators who need Rspamd-based spam filtering for self-hosted IMAP mailboxes. Use it when you want a separate scanner component with a web UI and minimal container-start coordination.

## Common questions

### Do I need to run bootstrap.sh before the first start?

Yes, run bootstrap.sh once on the host before starting the container to prepare worker-controller.inc.

### What happens if Rspamd is unreachable or a required folder is missing?

The stack fails closed; if Rspamd is unreachable, a parse error occurs, or a folder is missing, the message stays put.

### How can I prevent the filter from moving mail?

Set the account to shadow mode in accounts.yml, which scans and logs only without mailbox writes.

### How does the filter learn spam and ham?

Move Inbox mail to Junk to train spam, or move Junk mail to Inbox to train ham, after the grace window. Using the IMAP keyword $Junk or $NotJunk skips the grace window.

### What state should I back up for learned filtering?

Back up the Redis container, which persists Rspamd Bayes tokens, fuzzy hashes, and neural weights using AOF and RDB.
