## Common questions

### Which Docker settings are required for a working NSPanel Manager installation?

Use the image architecture that matches your host, such as amd64 for a typical x86 Linux PC. Map a real folder on your server to /data because this is where your files and settings live, and deleting or moving it can wipe your setup. Set TZ to your local timezone and expose port 8000 so your browser can reach the web UI.

### Do I need a standalone MQTT server?

No, if you use Home Assistant or OpenHAB, they can provide an embedded MQTT server through their integration. Otherwise, you need an MQTT server up and running.

### Where is the current list of bugs tracked?

The known issues page describes bugs that the maintainers cannot fix. For the current list of bugs, enhancements, and other issues, use the GitHub repository.
