First-install notes

  • Install the Scanopy daemon Run the official curl installer in a terminal on the Linux machine that will host the daemon. This command downloads, installs, and starts Scanopy automatically; without it the daemon is not installed or running. source
  • Start the full stack with Docker Compose If you are using Docker, download the docker-compose.yml file into a folder and run docker compose up -d there. This starts the Scanopy services as containers, so missing this step means the web UI and background services will not be available. source
