### Which port should I open for the Tautulli web dashboard?

Tautulli serves its dashboard on port 8181. Access it at localhost:8181 on the same host or the machine's IP address and port 8181 from another host, and allow the port through any firewall.

### What folder ownership issue can stop Tautulli from saving settings?

When using the Linux service steps, set the Tautulli folder owner to the tautulli user. Wrong ownership can prevent Tautulli from saving settings or starting reliably.

### How do I connect Tautulli to my Plex server?

After the dashboard loads, sign in to Plex using the account that runs your Plex Media Server. Without that connection, Tautulli has no movie or show activity to track.

### Why can self-hosted newsletter images be missing?

If you use Imgur for image hosting, API limits can cause some images to be missing. If you are self-hosting images, also ensure the Public Tautulli Domain setting under Web Interface is correct.
