## Common questions

### Can I access the Ubooquity admin interface from another machine?

By default, the admin page cannot be reached from another machine. You must enable the Allow remote administration option in the desktop interface or using a command-line option.

### How can I change Ubooquity ports if the default ports are taken?

Run Ubooquity with different ports by passing --libraryport xxxx to change the library port and --adminport xxxx to change the admin port.

### Why are comic details missing or incorrect in Ubooquity?

Ubooquity gets comic metadata from the comicinfo.xml file inside CBZ files. Check that the file contains the scraped information you expect.

### Can I move Ubooquity to a different directory after setup?

Yes, stop Ubooquity first and move its entire folder to a new location. The application stores everything it needs in that folder.

### Can I give different users access to specific folders and secure connections with HTTPS?

You can create user accounts and set access rights for each shared folder. Connections can also be protected with HTTPS using your own certificate.
