### Which Docker images can I use for a self-hosted WeKan deployment?

Use the ghcr.io/wekan/wekan, wekanteam/wekan, or quay.io/wekan/wekan image. The latest tag gives the newest release.

### Why does WeKan fail to start or save anything on first run?

Start MongoDB before opening WeKan because it stores boards, users, and settings. If the database is not running, WeKan will not start or save anything.

### Do I need Nginx for an HTTPS reverse proxy setup?

Yes, install and start Nginx if you use a web server so it can forward WeKan requests. Without it, an HTTPS or reverse-proxy setup will not work.

### How are language translations handled for a self-hosted WeKan install?

Translations to non-English languages are accepted through Transifex. New English strings for features are added by pull request to the English i18n file.
