## Common questions

### How do I mount Kitana under a path such as /kitana behind a reverse proxy?

Use the Docker arguments -p /kitana -P when running the container. The README example also binds the container to 127.0.0.1:31337 for reverse-proxy use.

### Does Kitana create its own HTTPS endpoint?

No. Kitana is made to run behind reverse proxies and does not provide its own HTTPS interface.

### What happens if the configured Plex Media Server connection is lost?

Kitana has full PMS connection awareness and automatic fallback if the configured connection is lost.

### Can a single Kitana instance be used by several people or Plex servers?

Yes. One instance can serve many servers and plugins, and you can expose it so friends can manage their own plugins without running their own instance.

### Can I use Kitana on a mobile device?

Yes. Kitana is fully responsive, so the plugin UIs can be managed from mobile phones.
