### What should I check if my Twingate Connector cannot log in or create a private connection?

Verify that the Twingate access and refresh tokens and the Twingate network URL are set correctly. If they are missing or point to the wrong Twingate network, the connector cannot log in and will not create a private connection.

### What file step is required before configuring the DIY VPN setup?

Copy the example settings file named values-example.yaml to values.yaml, then edit the new file. If you skip this, the connector may use placeholder settings and not join the right Twingate network.

### How do I configure a headless IoT gateway connector to reach local devices?

Pass the CIDR network range for the local devices you want to reach. If you leave the CIDR out or use the wrong range, the connector starts but cannot send traffic to those apps.

### Where should I start diagnosing an offline or unhealthy Twingate Connector?

Open the Connector details page from the Remote Network section and review its status and time offset. If the connector is Offline, the host is likely down or has lost internet connectivity.
