## Common questions

### How should I start the packaged Trilium Linux server over SSH?

Download and extract the latest Linux server archive, then run ./trilium.sh from the extracted folder. If you are connected over SSH, use nohup ./trilium.sh & so it keeps running after you close the terminal.

### Why does Trilium keep crashing after a restart?

A note with a faulty script can cause Trilium to crash. If Trilium tries to reload that problematic note on restart, it will continue to crash.

### Is Trilium designed for multiple user accounts?

The project assumes that only a single person has access to the app. That single-user assumption simplifies many parts of the application.

### Does Trilium have password sharing or automatic locking?

Trilium has password sharing of notes and automatic AFK locking. The lock is mentioned after 5 minutes of being away.
