## Common questions

### Can Logitech Media Server be set up in Docker with local playback?

Yes, a complete docker-compose is available for setting up the local server along with local playback.

### Is Logitech Media Server overkill for playing music on a single computer?

It is designed for a music server with remote clients, so it may be heavier than needed for local-only use. You can run both the server and a software client on the same computer, but that is more than necessary.
