## Common questions

### Which ports does the idrac6 container expose?

Publish port 5800 for the web interface and port 5900 for direct VNC access. The compose example maps both ports.

### What iDRAC connection details are required in the container?

Set IDRAC_HOST, IDRAC_USER, and IDRAC_PASSWORD. The container always uses HTTPS, and IDRAC_PORT is optional with 443 as the default.

### Why is the first start slow and how can I cache the Java libraries?

The container downloads Java libraries from the iDRAC instance during startup. Mount a volume at /app to cache those files for faster future starts.

### What should I do if keyboard input is unreliable?

Set IDRAC_KEYCODE_HACK to true to address keyboard input problems. This option is not required for every iDRAC installation.

### Can a single container manage multiple iDRAC servers?

No, one instance can only access one iDRAC server. Run separate containers for additional servers.
