AI companion for a Homebox inventory. Photograph your things and let a vision model identify them, then create the items - including photos, quantities, manufacturer, model and tags - directly in Homebox. An AI chat helps to search, organise and update the inventory. REQUIREMENTS: a running Homebox server and an API key for an LLM provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or OpenRouter via LiteLLM). The LLM key is paid per use; the project estimates roughly 0.30 USD per 100 items with gpt-5-mini. SETUP: set "Homebox URL" to the address of your Homebox server including its port, as reachable from inside this container - the server IP works, "localhost" does not.
