## Description

CookTrace is a self-hosted recipe, pantry, and cooking tracker for individuals and households that want local control over food data. It runs as a single Docker container with a browser PWA, native Android and Wear OS apps, and no telemetry or external accounts. It manages a recipe library with cook mode, live scaling, and a nutrition facts box, tracks pantry items with barcode scanning and expiration digests, plans meals on a calendar, logs cooks, and builds aisle-grouped shopping lists. It imports recipes from URLs, files, Mealie, Paprika, and Tandoor archives, supports multi-user access with OpenID Connect single sign-on, shared cookbooks, NutriTrace diary logging, and scheduled backups. Your data stays in a local appdata folder.
