JusttPrint is a self-hosted web app for managing your 3D printing model collection (STL, 3MF, OBJ, STEP, ZIP and more). It scans model folders, renders thumbnails, and keeps tags, designers, licenses, categories, collections, print history, printers and kits organized in one place. Access it from any browser on your network, with optional user accounts for family or a makerspace.

## Common questions

### How do I create the initial JusttPrint login?

Choose a password at setup; the user name is admin. If you leave it empty, a random password is printed once in the container log.

### Which folders does JusttPrint scan, and how do I change them?

The first run asks which folders hold your models and scans them. Change them later under Settings, Scanning, STL Home.

### Does JusttPrint work with Unraid shares?

Unraid Shares makes your shares available read and write, so delete, move and Organize Library work.

### Is HTTPS required to install the mobile app?

Android and desktop need HTTPS to install the app on the home screen.

### Does moving files outside JusttPrint lose tags, notes, or print history?

Files moved to another folder or share outside JusttPrint keep their tags, notes and print history.
