## Description

FreeSize Hub is one dashboard for the storage of all your devices. Phones, PCs and servers running FreeSize report their disks, biggest folders and files; you can compare scans over time, search every device at once, and get alerts via ntfy, Gotify, Pushover or webhooks before a disk fills up. Nothing is ever deleted automatically: the dashboard can only ask, and each request is shown on the device itself with its full path to approve or deny. Servers without a screen send their requests to an approver phone, which can only be chosen on the server, never from the dashboard.

## Common questions

### Do I have to pull a new Docker image for an existing DiskTree Hub container?

No, the old image name serves the same FreeSize Hub image for a while, so an existing container can update in place. Existing DISKTREE_ environment settings still apply where a FREESIZE_ setting is not set.

### How do I keep Android devices connected after the rename?

Install the new FreeSize Android app, connect it to the Hub again, then uninstall DiskTree. App history in Documents/DiskTree carries over, while installers in Download/DiskTree are left alone.

### Does the Unraid plugin change its path after the rename?

The last DiskTree update installs the FreeSize plugin within a minute and takes over the settings and Hub pairing from /boot/config/plugins/disktree. The plugin page is under Tools, FreeSize.

### Do the Linux systemd unit names change for the agent and Hub?

Yes, the units are now freesize-agent.service and freesize-hub.service. You can install them with --state and the data folder pointing at the old paths, or move those paths.

### Can I keep existing DiskTree Authentik group names for access control?

Yes, the Authentik groups disktree-admins and disktree-viewers still count while the Hub's group settings are left at their defaults.
