## Common questions

### How should I prepare the Posteryard data folder?

Mount ./data to /data and create it with ownership 1000:1000 before starting the container. The container runs as user 1000 and writes only to /data and /tmp.

### What PLEX_URL value should I use with a Dockerized Plex?

Use Plex's network address, not localhost. If Plex runs in Docker on the same network, use its container name.

### Can I try Posteryard without changing my media server?

Set DRY_RUN to true first, because Posteryard starts in preview mode and changes nothing until you say so. Everything it uploads can be undone.

### How are quality badges determined?

They are read from your media files. Set QUALITY_MIN_VIDEO, QUALITY_MIN_HDR, and QUALITY_MIN_AUDIO to control the minimum resolution, HDR, and audio levels.

### Which art sources can Posteryard use?

It can use textless art from TMDB, Apple TV, or fanart.tv. Configure TMDB_API_KEY for TMDB, APPLE_ART=true for Apple art, and FANART_API_KEY for fanart.tv.
