## Common questions

### How should I save Kapowarr's database when using Docker?

Map a host folder to /app/db, for example -v /opt/Kapowarr/db:/app/db. This keeps Kapowarr's settings and library data when the container is updated or recreated.

### What port should I expose for the Kapowarr Docker container?

Expose the container's internal port 5656 to a host port, such as -p 8009:5656. If the mapping is missing or wrong, the web page will not load.

### How do I use Kapowarr's alpha releases?

Pull the Docker image from the mrcas/kapowarr-alpha repository. Alpha fixes are released as stable after problems found in alpha are fixed.

### Can Kapowarr import an existing comic library?

Yes, you can import your existing library right into Kapowarr. You can then add volumes, map them to a folder, and manage issues.
