Enable Actual imports transactions from European banks into Actual Budget through Enable Banking (official PSD2 APIs, free for personal use, read-only access to your accounts). A web UI handles setup, account mapping, import schedules and history, with optional ntfy notifications. Image tag: the Actual client bundled in the image must be the same version as your Actual Budget server or newer. Set the tag to your Actual server version, e.g. 2manyvcos/enable-actual:actual26.10.0 for Actual 26.10.0, and change it each time you update Actual. latest always ships the newest Actual client: only keep it if your Actual server is always up to date. First launch: set Public URL to the exact address you open the UI with (e.g. https://192.168.1.10:3000), since the UI calls the API through it. ### Which Docker image tag should I use with my Actual Budget server?

Use the tag that tracks your Actual Budget server version. The Actual client bundled in the image must be the same version as, or newer than, the server, so keep the tag aligned when you update Actual.

### Is HTTPS required for production?

Yes, HTTPS is required for production because of PSD2. The image can generate a self-signed certificate when SSL_ENABLED is set, but you should provide a trusted certificate for production use.

### What should PUBLIC_URL be set to?

Set PUBLIC_URL to the exact public address used to open the UI. It must also match the Enable Banking redirect URL.

### Does Enable Actual include built-in authentication?

No, there is no built-in authentication. You must protect access yourself, such as with a reverse proxy that adds authentication, especially if the instance is exposed to the internet.
