## Description

NewsNest is a self-hosted news feed that learns what you care about. It gathers your RSS and Atom feeds (plus GitHub release feeds) into one calm stream, folds the same story from different outlets into a single card, and uses Claude to rank and summarise what matters to you against an interests file you write yourself. Likes, dislikes and opens shift what you see, a calibration mode shows why every story ranks where it does, and a swipe deck lets you rate a backlog with one thumb. Keyword watches, mute filters, full-text search, saved stories and a day-by-day archive are built in. Installable as a PWA, with light and dark themes. AI is optional: add an Anthropic API key for ranking and summaries, with a hard daily spending cap (default $0.50). Without a key everything still works and stories are shown newest first.
