## Common questions

### How do I force the server to check a channel for new uploads right away?

Use the channel list on the single-page dashboard and select the option to tell the server to check for new uploads immediately.

### Which folders should I map when running the Docker container?

Map local folders or Docker volumes for /app/downloads and /app/config. If using Docker volumes, also enable the root volumes section in the sample compose file.

### Which local port does the app use when run without Docker?

It serves the dashboard on localhost port 8080 after building and starting it.

### What command starts the Docker deployment from the repository?

Clone the repository, then run docker-compose up -d inside the go-auto-yt directory.

### Can I rely on the existing GitHub documentation for setup?

No, the documentation is marked completely outdated and cannot be used. The author says it will be updated slowly while working on Golty v2.
