Yes. Stop and disable Nginx or Caddy first, otherwise they can fight over the same web ports and HTTPS, making Rallly unreachable or its secure links broken.

### Do I need to run Rallly's installer script on a self-hosted Docker deployment?

Yes. The installer checks requirements, downloads the stack, guides setup, and creates secret keys; without it Rallly will not be configured or running.

### How do I back up Rallly's data?

Run ./rallly.sh backup to save a copy of the database in ./backups/. If the database is lost and you have no backup, all polls, accounts, and settings disappear.

### Can I recover old Rallly polls from the older MongoDB version?

The older Angular/MongoDB version includes a mongo helper that can retrieve old polls into Postgres when legacy poll links are accessed.
