## Common questions

### How should I place endlessh-go if I also run a normal SSH server?

Put the real SSH server on another port and let the tarpit answer on the port that scanners normally hit.

### Does endlessh-go support dashboards or metrics?

It exports Prometheus metrics and can be visualized by a Grafana dashboard.

### Do recent scanners still stay connected for long periods?

One self-hosted user reports scanners now stop after 20-30 seconds, after 2-3 responses, instead of staying connected for days.
