## Common questions

### How can I avoid losing OneDev data when running it with Docker?

Mount a persistent folder to /opt/onedev using -v ./onedev:/opt/onedev. If you do not do this, your projects and settings can disappear when the container is deleted.

### Which ports must be exposed for OneDev to accept web and Git access?

Expose port 6610 for the web UI/API and port 6611 for Git/SSH code access. If these ports are blocked, OneDev may be running but you may not be able to open it or push code.

### Can customers submit tickets to OneDev by email without having an account?

Yes. OneDev’s service desk lets customers submit tickets by email without a OneDev account. Tickets are created in the matching project and assigned according to your issue creation settings.
