Health score?A 0-100 score computed nightly from four factors: maintained (40%: recent commits and steady activity), popular (25%: GitHub stars, log scale), easy to install (20%: platforms, install notes, setup guides, Docker image) and light to run (15%: minimum RAM, ARM support). When the source code has been checked, a fifth factor, security check (20%: automated scan for committed secrets, unsafe desktop-app settings, known-vulnerable dependencies and project hygiene; any serious finding caps it at 20), is added. Factors without data are left out and the rest are rescaled.

First-install notes
- Put the widget in the right Übersicht folder Clone simple-bar into Übersicht's widgets folder (Übersicht is a macOS menu-bar widget app), and make sure the resulting folder is named '_simple-bar' as the docs say. If the folder name is wrong, Übersicht won't load the widget and it won't show up in the menu bar. source
- Change settings before first launch Edit the default JSON settings file before starting simple-bar so values like yabai or aerospace paths, theme, and shell match your Mac. If they're left incorrect, the bar may start but not show windows/spaces or control them properly. source
- Set up GitHub CLI if required Install the GitHub CLI with Homebrew (a macOS package manager) and sign in with gh auth login before using the widget. If this is skipped, GitHub commands used by the workflow may fail. source
- Web client This repository is only the API server; install the Salt Rim web client (https://github.com/karlomikus/vue-salt-rim) for a ready-to-use interface. source

Common questions
Does the backend repository include the web interface?
No, the repository only contains the API server. For an easy-to-use web client, use Salt Rim.
How should I tag the Docker image for updates?
There is no latest tag, so specify a version tag such as major, minor, patch, or dev. The dev tag is not recommended for production.
How do I load the built-in recipes and ingredients?
When creating a new bar, you can choose to start with cocktails and ingredients already included. To pull updated standard recipes, open the bar edit page and click Synchronize data.
How can another user join a bar?
The bar owner can add the user as a member or share an invite code. The invite code and invite link are available in the list of bars and can be toggled on or off.
What should I check if the login page cannot reach the API server?
This usually means the client cannot reach the API server. Restart the API server and check Docker.
Can I import and export bar data?
Recipes can be exported in formats such as JSON, YAML, and Markdown. Ingredients can be bulk imported via CSV.
