How we measure

Our Local Host checks the app stores of Unraid, TrueNAS, Umbrel, ZimaOS, Proxmox (community scripts) and Helm (Artifact Hub) every night and matches listings to one record per app. "New" means first seen in the directory that month; "removed" means no install platform has listed it for 60 days. GitHub figures come from the public GitHub API, recorded daily. Health scores combine maintenance (40%), popularity (25%), ease of install (20%) and resource needs (15%). Tracking began 29 September 2026.
