Health score?A 0-100 score computed nightly from four factors: maintained (40%: recent commits and steady activity), popular (25%: GitHub stars, log scale), easy to install (20%: platforms, install notes, setup guides, Docker image) and light to run (15%: minimum RAM, ARM support). When the source code has been checked, a fifth factor, security check (20%: automated scan for committed secrets, unsafe desktop-app settings, known-vulnerable dependencies and project hygiene; any serious finding caps it at 20), is added. Factors without data are left out and the rest are rescaled.

First-install notes
- Point your *arr apps to UmlautAdaptarr In Sonarr, Radarr, or similar, set the indexer URL to UmlautAdaptarr, for example http://your-server:5005/_/scenenzbs.com, use /api as the API path (the part of the URL that points to the indexer), and keep the original indexer API key (the secret code that indexer gave you); use the underscore in the URL only if UmlautAdaptarr has no API key, otherwise use its configured key. Without this, your * source
- Set UmlautAdaptarr's *arr connections In the app settings, enable only the Sonarr, Lidarr, or Readarr instances you actually use and fill in each host URL and API key (the address and secret code for each app). If these are missing or wrong, UmlautAdaptarr can't locate the matching media in your *arr app, so title corrections may not work. source
- Use the right address and port Use port 5005 for direct indexer mode or port 5006 if you configure UmlautAdaptarr as a proxy (a middleman app) in Prowlarr; if the apps are on different machines, use the machine's address or name instead of localhost (same machine). The wrong address or port makes the indexer appear unreachable. source
- Update indexer URLs in Prowlarr or your *arr apps After installing, change the indexer URLs in Prowlarr or directly in each *arr app to point to UmlautAdaptarr so searches route through it. source

Common questions
How should I point Sonarr, Radarr, Lidarr, or Readarr at UmlautAdaptarr?
Set the indexer URL to UmlautAdaptarr, use /api as the API path, and keep the original indexer API key. Use an underscore in the URL only if UmlautAdaptarr has no API key, otherwise use its configured key.
What do I need to configure inside UmlautAdaptarr so title corrections work?
Enable only the *arr instances you actually use and fill in each host URL and API key. Missing or wrong connections stop it from finding matching media, so title corrections may not work.
Which port should I use when running UmlautAdaptarr directly versus through Prowlarr?
Use port 5005 for direct indexer mode and port 5006 when UmlautAdaptarr is configured as a proxy in Prowlarr.
Is there a Docker image for UmlautAdaptarr?
Yes, it is published as the pcjones/umlautadaptarr Docker image.
