Docker image of Acronis Backup Agent 12.5.12960 installed on Centos 7 x64 In order to get a registration token you need to go to Acronis Cyber Cloud > Devices > Add (top right) then "Registration Token" area in the bottom and then "Generate" from there. To register, console into the container and run ./register_mms.sh -o register -a YOURDATACENTERURL --token TOKEN -t cloud NOTE: If you ever have to do a force update or rebuild your docker.img this will need to be re-registered! Limitations 1. Updating the agent running inside a container via Acronis web console interface from Settings -> Agents is not supported. The container should be updated separately if a new version ever comes out. 2. To back up data from NAS device only Files/Folders backup type should be used. Entire machine or Disks/volumes backup type is not supported. 3. This is a very old agent, I do not manage or update this

First-install notes

  • Register the agent with your Acronis account Run the Acronis PowerShell registration script (a Windows command script) with your DataCenterUrl and registration token, and include the local installer path (the folder where the Acronis installer file is saved) if the agent is not already installed. Without the correct URL and token, the computer won't join your Acronis account/organization and can't receive its protection plan. source
  • Use the right DataCenter URL Set DataCenterUrl to the Acronis cloud region for your account, such as the EU URL shown in the example. If the agent points at the wrong region, it may install but fail to register or sync with your backups. source
  • Protect the registration token Treat the registration token (shown as -RegToken in the script) like a password and keep it stored safely. If someone else has it, they could attach computers to your Acronis account/organization or apply plans you didn't ask for. source
