Health score?A 0-100 score computed nightly from four factors: maintained (40%: recent commits and steady activity), popular (25%: GitHub stars, log scale), easy to install (20%: platforms, install notes, setup guides, Docker image) and light to run (15%: minimum RAM, ARM support). When the source code has been checked, a fifth factor, security check (20%: automated scan for committed secrets, unsafe desktop-app settings, known-vulnerable dependencies and project hygiene; any serious finding caps it at 20), is added. Factors without data are left out and the rest are rescaled.

First-install notes

  • Install the base package first Run `pip install jumpmodels` so your computer gets the jumpmodels library and its required Python dependencies. Without it, any example or script that says `from jumpmodels...` will fail because the package is missing. source
  • Use the example extras if running notebooks If you plan to run the sample notebooks, run `pip install jumpmodels[example]` instead. That also installs extra tools the examples need, such as yfinance and jupyterlab, so the notebooks can start without missing-library errors. source
  • Examples expect pandas date tables The sample code works best when your market data is a pandas table with a date index, like `dates = pd.date_range(...)`. If your data does not have dates as the index, helpers such as `filter_date_range` and model examples may not behave as expected. source
