First-install notes
- Fill in the required settings first In the settings file that starts the app, set PUID and PGID (the user and group IDs the container runs as), TZ (your timezone), and a real folder for /config, then make ports 3000 and 3001 available on your machine. If these are missing or wrong, OrcaSlicer may fail to start, lose settings, or become unreachable from your browser. source
- Launch it and open the web page Open a terminal and run docker-compose up -d to start the container in the background, then open https://localhost:3001/ to use OrcaSlicer. This is the main entry point; without starting the container, there is no web interface to load. source
- Optional: add Nvidia GPU support If you have an Nvidia graphics card, install the official Nvidia driver and configure Docker to use the Nvidia runtime. Without this, GPU-accelerated performance may not work, and the app may run slower or fall back to CPU only. source
