How is this calculated?
A 0-100 score computed nightly from four factors: maintained (40%: recent commits and steady activity), popular (25%: GitHub stars, log scale), easy to install (20%: platforms, install notes, setup guides, Docker image) and light to run (15%: minimum RAM, ARM support). Factors without data are left out and the rest are rescaled.

First-install notes
- Fill in .env before first start Create a .env file and set values like PUBLIC_HOSTNAME (your web address), HTTPS_ONLY, database (main data store), Redis (quick helper store), SMTP (email), MULTIUSER, and REGISTRATION before starting Manyfold. These tell the app how to be reached, store data, send emails, and allow accounts, so missing or wrong values can stop it from working or letting people sign up. source
- Add a library folder for models After setup, create a filesystem library that points to the folder where your 3D model files live, and use a path template such as {creator}/{modelName} if you want folders by creator and model. This tells Manyfold where to find and organize files, so an empty or wrong folder will leave it with nothing to show. source
- Optional: connect a print host If you want to send files to a printer, add a print host (a saved connection to a printer service) with the printer’s web address, protocol, and API key. The app checks the file types each host accepts, so a wrong address or unsupported file type will make uploads fail. source

Common questions
What must be configured in .env before first starting Manyfold?
Create a .env file and set values such as PUBLIC_HOSTNAME, HTTPS_ONLY, database, Redis, SMTP, MULTIUSER, and REGISTRATION before starting. Missing or wrong values can stop the app from working or control who can sign up.
What port should be available after installation?
The instance should be accessible in a web browser at your server address with port 3214. Then proceed to create your administrator account.
How do I tell Manyfold where my 3D model files are?
After setup, create a filesystem library that points to the folder containing your model files. You can use a path template such as {creator}/{modelName}, but an empty or wrong folder leaves nothing to show.
Can Manyfold send models to a printer service?
You can add a print host with the printer service's web address, protocol, and API key. The app checks the file types each host accepts, so unsupported file types or a wrong address will fail.
Can it automatically reorganise or check the files on disk?
Manyfold can automatically reorganise files on disk based on tags or other metadata with customizable renaming. It can also spot duplicate files, nested models, and inefficient formats.
