Health score?A 0-100 score computed nightly from four factors: maintained (40%: recent commits and steady activity), popular (25%: GitHub stars, log scale), easy to install (20%: platforms, install notes, setup guides, Docker image) and light to run (15%: minimum RAM, ARM support). When the source code has been checked, a fifth factor, security check (20%: automated scan for committed secrets, unsafe desktop-app settings, known-vulnerable dependencies and project hygiene; any serious finding caps it at 20), is added. Factors without data are left out and the rest are rescaled.

First-install notes

  • Start the app with the setup script Run `bash ./setup.sh`, then `NODE_VERSION=22 docker compose up --scale tester=0`. Docker Compose is the tool that starts the app's helper containers; the command also selects Node.js 22 and keeps the test worker from running, so you get a clean first start. source
  • Docker installation prerequisites A PostgreSQL database and Redis instance are required before first start. Create a config directory with a default.yml file based on the repository's example.yml, setting your server URL, database host/port/credentials, and Redis host/port/password. source
