Health score?A 0-100 score computed nightly from four factors: maintained (40%: recent commits and steady activity), popular (25%: GitHub stars, log scale), easy to install (20%: platforms, install notes, setup guides, Docker image) and light to run (15%: minimum RAM, ARM support). When the source code has been checked, a fifth factor, security check (20%: automated scan for committed secrets, unsafe desktop-app settings, known-vulnerable dependencies and project hygiene; any serious finding caps it at 20), is added. Factors without data are left out and the rest are rescaled.

First-install notes

  • Set the Docker config path and port In the Docker Compose file (the startup script for the app), replace PATH/TO/CONFIG with a real folder that will hold ImmichFrame's settings and keep the 8080 port line (the numbered address your frame uses to find the app). Without the settings folder and the correct port, the app can lose its configuration or your frame cannot reach it. source
  • Install the Frameo app file Use ADB (the Android command-line tool) to install the ImmichFrame APK file (the Android app file) on your Frameo, and double-check that the path to the .apk file is correct. If the path is wrong or the app is not installed, you will have nothing to launch and configure. source
  • Enter the Immich server details After the app is installed, run the ADB command to start ImmichFrame, then swipe down into its settings and enter the server URL and authorization secret (a shared password/token). Without those details, the frame does not know which Immich server to connect to, so it will not show your photos. source
