Health score?A 0-100 score computed nightly from four factors: maintained (40%: recent commits and steady activity), popular (25%: GitHub stars, log scale), easy to install (20%: platforms, install notes, setup guides, Docker image) and light to run (15%: minimum RAM, ARM support). When the source code has been checked, a fifth factor, security check (20%: automated scan for committed secrets, unsafe desktop-app settings, known-vulnerable dependencies and project hygiene; any serious finding caps it at 20), is added. Factors without data are left out and the rest are rescaled.

First-install notes
- Run installer without DB settings Start a short-lived Spotweb container with no database settings set, open http://localhost/install.php in a browser, then stop it with Ctrl+C. This starts the setup wizard and creates the database layout; skipping it leaves Spotweb unconfigured. source
- Fill in database settings before restart In your docker-compose.yml or docker run command, set SPOTWEB_DB_TYPE, SPOTWEB_DB_HOST, SPOTWEB_DB_NAME, SPOTWEB_DB_USER, and SPOTWEB_DB_PASS to match your database (these tell Spotweb where its data is stored). If they are wrong or missing, Spotweb cannot save or load spots and the site will not work. source
- Keep /config and DB volumes Save the /config folder and database folder on your machine, because they hold your setup, cache, and database. If you need to run the installer again, delete dbsettings.inc.php from /config; otherwise Spotweb may think setup is already done and block re-setup. source

Common questions
Can Hydra or another service reach a self-hosted Spotweb over HTTP internally when Traefik handles SSL externally?
Yes, one setup runs Spotweb and Hydra in Docker on the same server, with Traefik providing SSL at the reverse proxy and Hydra accessing Spotweb directly on HTTP internally.
Why might new content appear more slowly in Spotweb than in an index-style system?
Spotweb is a moderated and curated Spotnet system with manual intervention, which can make new content appear slightly slower while raising quality depending on the spotters.
Can Spotweb filter spots since the last view?
Yes, Spotweb can show and filter new spots since the last view.
Does Spotweb support downloading multiple files?
Spotweb supports downloading multiple files.
