Health score?A 0-100 score computed nightly from four factors: maintained (40%: recent commits and steady activity), popular (25%: GitHub stars, log scale), easy to install (20%: platforms, install notes, setup guides, Docker image) and light to run (15%: minimum RAM, ARM support). When the source code has been checked, a fifth factor, security check (20%: automated scan for committed secrets, unsafe desktop-app settings, known-vulnerable dependencies and project hygiene; any serious finding caps it at 20), is added. Factors without data are left out and the rest are rescaled.

First-install notes

  • Set up SSH keys for Git model repositories If you save or load Archi models from a private Git repository, generate an ed25519 SSH key and add the public key to your Git host. Without it, coArchi cannot authenticate and saving or loading models will fail. source
  • Use the correct Git SSH URL format When adding a model repository, use the URL style for your Git host, such as [email protected]:owner/repo.git or ssh://[email protected]. A wrong URL means coArchi cannot find the repository even if your keys are correct. source
  • Trust private or self-signed SSL certificates If your Git server uses a private or self-signed SSL certificate, add it to Archi's trusted certificate list or set the Archi.ini settings file to use your operating system's trusted certificates. Without this, Archi may reject the connection because it cannot verify the server. source
  • Quickstart Run the container with GIT_REPOSITORY set to your ArchiMate model Git repository, then open the mapped port (for example 8080) to view the generated HTML report. source

Common questions

How do team members access the generated report?

The Docker image generates and exposes an HTML website from an ArchiMateTool model.

Can report generation be automated?

Yes, a user described running the Docker image manually with docker run or using GitHub Actions to automate the HTML report generation.

Do I need Archi installed to edit the model?

The report Docker image only builds the report, so you should install Archi locally to edit the model and use a coArchi-based model repository.

How do I authenticate Archi to a private Git model repository?

Generate an ed25519 SSH key, add the public key to your Git host, and use the correct Git SSH URL format for the repository.
