First-install notes
- Make Bluetooth ready before scanning Before scanning for BLE devices (low-energy Bluetooth devices), make sure Bluetooth is turned on; if the radio is off, the app won’t find any devices. source
- Stop scanning before you connect When you find a BLE device and want to connect, stop the scan first; keeping the scan running can interfere with the connection. source
- List web service UUIDs if needed If you’re using the app in a web browser, add any extra Bluetooth service UUIDs (the short IDs that name device services) to the web options; without them, the browser may not allow access to those services after connecting. source
