First-install notes
- Start Radarr and Sonarr with Docker Make sure Docker (a tool that runs apps in isolated packages called containers) is installed and configured, then run docker-compose up -d to start the Radarr and Sonarr containers in the background. If Docker isn’t ready, those apps won’t start and Profilarr may not be able to connect to them. source
- Connect a profile database After starting Radarr and Sonarr, connect Profilarr to a curated quality-profile database such as Dictionarry, TRaSH Guides, or Dumpstarr, then import the profiles and custom formats you need. source

Common questions
How should I expose Profilarr behind a reverse proxy?
Map port 6868 to the container and set the ORIGIN environment variable to the public URL when using a reverse proxy.
Is the separate parser service required for basic use?
No, the parser service is optional and only needed for custom format and quality profile testing.
Do Radarr and Sonarr need to be running when Profilarr connects?
Yes, start Radarr and Sonarr first, because Profilarr may not be able to connect if they are not running.
Can one Profilarr instance manage multiple Arr instances?
Yes, it can sync configurations to any number of Arr instances.
Which external profile databases can Profilarr connect to?
It can connect to curated databases such as Dictionarry, TRaSH Guides, and Dumpstarr.
