Health score?A 0-100 score computed nightly from four factors: maintained (40%: recent commits and steady activity), popular (25%: GitHub stars, log scale), easy to install (20%: platforms, install notes, setup guides, Docker image) and light to run (15%: minimum RAM, ARM support). When the source code has been checked, a fifth factor, security check (20%: automated scan for committed secrets, unsafe desktop-app settings, known-vulnerable dependencies and project hygiene; any serious finding caps it at 20), is added. Factors without data are left out and the rest are rescaled.

First-install notes

  • Set up .env.local before starting Copy .env.example to .env.local and add only the model or media-service credentials you actually use. If a feature needs a missing key, it will tell you what is missing instead of guessing. source
  • Use Node.js 24.x before running Install Node.js 24.x with npm before starting the app. The project checks the Node version, so a different major version may stop it from starting. source
  • Open the app on port 5199 After it starts, open http://localhost:5199 in a browser. If the app is running on another computer, use that computer's address and make sure port 5199 is reachable. source
