First-install notes
- Set the shared logger when your app launches Create NetworkLogger.shared at app launch and set options like excludedHosts (a list of websites not to log). If you skip it, Pulse may use default settings and log noisy hosts you wanted to hide. source
- Start remote logging on the main actor Call enable() on the main actor (the app’s main thread of work) so the logger begins searching for available servers. Without it, remote logging never turns on and your app won’t send logs to a server. source
- Hide sensitive details before logs are saved Use willHandleEvent (a hook that runs before an event is stored) to remove or block events that contain private information. If you don’t, that data can be written into the log store and later shared or exposed. source
