Common questions
How do I move from Mylar3 to Issuarr?
Issuarr is a drop-in replacement for the linuxserver/mylar3 image. Point Appdata at your old mylar3 folder and your settings and database carry over.
Where should I put Appdata on Unraid?
Keep Appdata on a pool or disk path rather than /mnt/user, for example /mnt/cache/appdata/issuarr, unless the appdata share is exclusive to a pool. This gives the best database performance.
Will my Mylar3 scripts or apps still work with Issuarr?
Issuarr has the same web API as Mylar3, so scripts and apps written for Mylar keep working. You need to turn on the Issuarr API in Settings > General > API and OPDS and create an API key.
Can I expose the API port directly to the internet?
Do not expose the port to the internet without a reverse proxy because the /api path does not use web UI login and the API key is the only protection. You can send the key in an X-Api-Key or Api-Key header to keep it out of proxy and access logs.
