First-install notes
- Build the demo image first From the project root, run: docker build -f extras/docker/demo/Dockerfile --tag wger/demo . This creates the wger/demo image; if you skip it or run it from the wrong folder, the later run command may fail or use the wrong files. source
- Run the demo and open it in your browser Start the Docker container (a packaged app environment) with: docker run -ti --name wger.demo --publish 8000:80 wger/demo, then visit http://localhost:8000 and sign in as admin/adminadmin. The 8000:80 part makes the container's web server reachable on your machine, and the demo login lets you get in immediately. source
- Restart the demo if it was already made If a wger.demo container exists but is stopped, use: sudo docker container start --attach wger.demo. This brings the app back online and shows its log output, so you can spot startup errors instead of wondering why the page is unavailable. source
