Arrmada is an all-in-one self-hosted media manager that finds, downloads, and organises movies, TV series, books, and audiobooks, replacing the multi-app Radarr/Sonarr workflow with household requests, subtitle handling, and Plex or Jellyfin library integration in a single database and web UI, and ships with a preconfigured qBittorrent download client.

Health score?A 0-100 score computed nightly from four factors: maintained (40%: recent commits and steady activity), popular (25%: GitHub stars, log scale), easy to install (20%: platforms, install notes, setup guides, Docker image) and light to run (15%: minimum RAM, ARM support). When the source code has been checked, a fifth factor, security check (20%: automated scan for committed secrets, unsafe desktop-app settings, known-vulnerable dependencies and project hygiene; any serious finding caps it at 20), is added. Factors without data are left out and the rest are rescaled.

First-install notes

  • Initial Setup and Storage Mapping Arrmada ships with qBittorrent and FlareSolverr already connected. To use your own instances, disable the bundled ones via the ARRMADA_BUNDLE_QBITTORRENT and ARRMADA_BUNDLE_FLARESOLVERR environment variables, then add your own under Settings > Connections. Map the share holding your media and downloads to /storage so imports use hardlinks instead of copying files. On first launch, open the web UI, source
  • Early-Stage Development Arrmada is early-stage (v0.x); expect rough edges and keep regular backups. source

Common questions

What do I need to do on first start in Arrmada?

Open the web UI, create the admin account, and follow the setup steps. You will add your free TMDB key, library folders, media server, and indexers.

Which folder variables should I set for Docker Compose?

Point ARRMADA_DATA_HOST to the folder for Arrmada's database and settings. Point ARRMADA_STORAGE_HOST to the folders containing your libraries and downloads.

Can I import an existing Radarr and Sonarr setup?

Yes, you can import your Radarr and Sonarr libraries, files and all.

Can household requests use Plex or Jellyfin login?

Yes, it includes nightly backups and one-step rollbacks, along with hardlinked imports and a recycle bin.
