Health score?A 0-100 score computed nightly from four factors: maintained (40%: recent commits and steady activity), popular (25%: GitHub stars, log scale), easy to install (20%: platforms, install notes, setup guides, Docker image) and light to run (15%: minimum RAM, ARM support). When the source code has been checked, a fifth factor, security check (20%: automated scan for committed secrets, unsafe desktop-app settings, known-vulnerable dependencies and project hygiene; any serious finding caps it at 20), is added. Factors without data are left out and the rest are rescaled.

Common questions
Does UGREEN LED Control require a kernel module or extra driver?
It talks to the LED controller over I2C without a kernel module, and it never wakes sleeping disks.
Do LED settings survive a reboot?
Every setting saves on change and survives a reboot.
Can the bay LEDs show live array status instead of just a fixed effect?
Status mode makes bay LEDs blink on disk activity, show disabled or missing disks, warn on rising SMART values, and indicate parity checks, rebuilds, and spun-down disks.
How can I identify a specific bay before removing a disk?
The identify-a-bay option blinks one bay white.
Can I see the negotiated speed of each network port?
The network LED can be coloured by link speed from 10 Mbit/s to 10 Gbit/s, and the RJ45 ports are drawn with the speed they run at.
Can I dim or switch off the LEDs at night?
Night mode can dim or switch off at fixed times, including across midnight.
