DeckCraft Web is a community-maintained Docker image that serves DeckCraft, a browser-based presentation and slide-deck editor. Create and edit presentations using the upstream WebAssembly application. The container only serves the static web interface through NGINX; slide editing and rendering take place in the browser, with no remote desktop or server-side presentation engine.

Health score?A 0-100 score computed nightly from four factors: maintained (40%: recent commits and steady activity), popular (25%: GitHub stars, log scale), easy to install (20%: platforms, install notes, setup guides, Docker image) and light to run (15%: minimum RAM, ARM support). When the source code has been checked, a fifth factor, security check (20%: automated scan for committed secrets, unsafe desktop-app settings, known-vulnerable dependencies and project hygiene; any serious finding caps it at 20), is added. Factors without data are left out and the rest are rescaled.

First-install notes

  • Serve it at /deckcraft with WebAssembly enabled Host the web app under the path /deckcraft/ and tell your web server (for example nginx) to label .wasm files as application/wasm. That label is required for the browser to run the slide editor without errors. source
  • Keep both sides using control port 7990 Only if you use the CLI or MCP to control a running app, both the app and the tool must agree on the control port, 7990 in the examples. If they do not match, commands are simply rejected or connect nowhere. source
  • Embeds need browser permission for fullscreen If you embed DeckCraft inside another website, keep the iframe allow attributes for fullscreen and clipboard access. Without them, the browser may silently block clicking Fullscreen or copying text. source
